Terms and Conditions
Last updated:
These terms apply to your use of unikframe.com and to the services Unikframe ("we", "us") provides, including branding, design, websites, content production, marketing and automation. By using the site or hiring us, you agree to them. If a signed quote or agreement for your project says something different, that document takes priority.
1. Quotes and pricing
- Prices on this site are "starting at" prices in Canadian dollars, shown as a guide. They are not an offer, and they can change without notice.
- Before any work begins, you receive a written quote with the scope, timeline and fixed price for your project. A quote is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise.
- Applicable taxes (such as HST) are added to the quoted price.
2. Starting a project and payment
- Work starts once you approve the quote and pay any deposit it lists.
- The payment schedule is set out in your quote. Invoices are due by the date shown on them, and we may pause work while an invoice is overdue.
- Monthly services (such as social media management or retainers) are billed in advance each month and continue until either side cancels in writing, as described in the quote.
3. Your part
To keep the project on schedule, you agree to provide content, feedback, approvals and any access we need on time. Delays on your side may move the delivery date. You confirm that anything you give us to use (text, photos, logos, music and so on) is yours or that you have permission to use it.
4. Revisions and changes
Your quote states how many rounds of revisions are included. Changes beyond that, or requests outside the agreed scope, are quoted separately before we do them.
5. Ownership of the work
- Once your project is paid in full, you own the final deliverables we create specifically for you, such as your logo, designs, photos, videos and website content.
- Third-party items stay subject to their own licences, including fonts, stock images, music, plugins, themes and software platforms. Where a paid licence is needed, we'll tell you.
- We keep ownership of our own tools, templates, code libraries and know-how used to make the work, and you receive the right to use them as part of your deliverables.
- Unless you ask us not to, we may show the finished work in our portfolio and on social media. We never share confidential information.
6. Third-party services
Many projects rely on services we don't control, such as hosting, domains, Shopify, WordPress, Google, Meta and CRM or automation platforms. Their own terms and fees apply, and we aren't responsible for their outages, policy changes or price changes.
7. Results
We work hard to grow your business, but search rankings, ad performance, follower counts and sales depend on many factors outside our control. We don't guarantee specific results unless your quote says so in writing.
8. Cancelling a project
Either side may end a project with written notice. You pay for work completed up to that date, plus any non-refundable costs we've already paid on your behalf. Deposits cover work already scheduled and are not refundable once work has started.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
10. Using this website
The content of unikframe.com, including text, graphics, logos and code, belongs to Unikframe or its licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. We try to keep the site accurate and available but don't guarantee it will always be error-free or online.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in place when you approve a quote applies to that project.
